Overview

Nestled in the heart of Makati City’s bustling Ayala Tower One, Paul Le Café offers a serene escape for coffee enthusiasts and pastry lovers alike. This coffee shop strikes a perfect balance between refined taste and cozy ambiance, making it an ideal spot for both casual meetups and quiet moments of introspection.

The café’s atmosphere invites you in with warm, soft lighting and comfortable seating that encourages lingering. The peaceful background music adds a soothing touch, creating an environment where time slows down, whether you’re diving into a book, catching up with friends, or seeking a break from the city’s pace. The spacious interior with large windows offers a pleasant view, enhancing the overall experience.

Paul Le Café’s menu stands out for its artisanal approach, showcasing classic French-inspired pastries with a contemporary twist. Their signature lemon tartlet and vibrant red berries cheesecake are must-tries, elegantly marrying tangy freshness with delicate sweetness. The eclairs, available in vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate, feature perfectly crafted choux pastry filled with luscious creams and mousses, offering a satisfying texture and harmonious flavors.

For those looking for a savory option, the tuna croissant sandwich, layered with fresh mayo, lettuce, and tomato, complements the café’s baked goods with a light yet flavorful bite. Their breads, like the sesame-encrusted flute, reflect a dedication to traditional craftsmanship, using simple yet quality ingredients.

The coffee itself is brewed to perfection, matching the café’s polished yet inviting vibe. From rich espressos to creamy hot chocolates made with all-natural chocolate, each cup delivers on depth and warmth. These are flawlessly paired with flaky, golden croissants or pain au chocolat, where the contrast between a crisp crust and soft interior elevates every bite.

Customers praise not only the flavors but also the welcoming and attentive service. The staff’s friendly demeanor enhances the homely feel, making guests feel genuinely valued. Though the café leans towards a tranquil environment suited for quiet work or reading, some have noted that the internet signal may not be the strongest for extended remote sessions.

Paul Le Café appeals to a diverse audience—from busy professionals seeking a peaceful morning refuge, to leisurely visitors craving expertly crafted pastries with a quality brew. Its prime location in Makati means it’s easily accessible yet feels like a hidden gem amidst the city’s fast rhythm.

In summary, Paul Le Café is an inviting haven for coffee aficionados and pastry lovers who appreciate thoughtful flavors, a relaxed setting, and welcoming hospitality. It’s an experience designed not just to satisfy hunger, but to soothe the soul.

A pristine and beautiful cafe filled with fresh and tasty looking pastries. Just looking at thr tarts with the plump berries makes my mouth water. There are also sandwiches made fresh every morning. The dining area is large and has a nice view. It's quiet and a welcome respite.

₱200 Strawberry Shortcake slice ₱115 Hot tea (pot) Cake was good. I liked it here, good place to chill, but IMO not to do some quick work. Unfortunately their wifi/5G signal was bad. Maybe mine wasn't stable, but staff said signal was really not good in that area.

I went here on a Monday morning. It’s their strawberry shortcake that really drew me in; it’s filled with strawberry slices, not jam or slices. I would suggest this to anyone looking for a quiet or chill place to read a book, work on your laptop, or just have some alone time. They provide drinking water at their counter for self-service.

Enjoyed their Hot Choco because you can't just taste it but you can actually feel its creaminess and chocolatiness in every sip. The taste of all natural choco adds up to this experience. I think it is best paired with croissant instead of Pain au chocolat. Pain au chocolat has a generous filling within. It is not dry nor soggy. Soft and flaky on the inside but can still hear the crunch of it on the outside. Accomodating and approachable staffs too. We feel very welcomed and homie at this place..

Haven't had the chance to dine inside the resto but I always order to go some food or coffee. Staff - super mababait and mabilis ang service. I never had to wait long for my order. Coffee - I like na hindi siya matamis. I tried both iced latte and caramel macchiato. Medyo pricy yung drinks nila for it's size but the quality of the overall drink makes up for it. Pastry - I recommend their lemon tartlet and madeleines. So far, I enjoyed both of these and didn't find them too sweet. Again, medyo pricy sila but the quality is there. Excited to come back and try their other coffee flavor and pastries.

Finally got to try their tiramisu. The place is quiet, peaceful, and thoughtfully decorated. Super nice ambiance that makes you want to stay longer. I ordered the tiramisu for ₱200 (plus a small service charge), and it did not disappoint. Smooth, creamy, and just the right amount of sweetness. So good! Perfect spot for a solo coffee break or a quiet catch-up with friends. Will definitely return.

3.5/5 Tried this new cafe in One Ayala. The iced latte tasted like the standard unsweetened latte. My sister got the mixed fruit smoothie and I personally think it’s overpriced. The chocolate bread pudding was firm and the serving was quite large. Not bad but I prefer soft bread puddings so I wasn’t too fond of it. The cafe is bright and spacious. I really liked the calm ambiance. They also have some outlets. Note that there’s a % table charge for every purchase though
